Removal

Removal of the sensor of wear from an internal brake shoe on the DOHC models

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At existence remove the wear sensor from an internal brake shoe and disconnect the electric socket of the sensor located under an arch of a wheel (see fig. Removal of the sensor of wear from an internal brake shoe on the DOHC models).
2. Using a screw-driver edge as the lever, from the outer side of a support remove fixing spring.
3. Remove dustproof caps from the internal ends of directing bolts, unscrew directing bolts of a support, lift a support with an internal block and, using a soft wire, tie up it to a forward rack (see fig. 4. Remove an internal block from the piston of a support and an external block from the holder of a support (see fig. Removal of an internal block from the support piston on models with ventilated disks).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear a dust and dirt from a support, and a rust from edge of a brake disk. If blocks are suitable for further operation, clear them, using a wire brush and rags.
2. If new brake shoes are established, press the piston into a support a wooden core or the hammer handle. Thus watch, that the piston did not warp also surfaces of the piston and a boot were not damaged. At a piston vdviganiye brake liquid is forced out from the brake cylinder in a broad tank therefore constantly watch liquid level in a tank, and if necessary pump out from a tank its small amount.
3. Check that dredging on the piston of a support is located on a vertical axis. If necessary, turn the piston in the correct situation (see fig. A dredging arrangement on the support piston on models with ventilated disks).
4. Apply a thin film greasings for brake system on the surfaces of brake shoes interfaced to a support.
5. Establish an internal block on a support. Thus the spring bracket should be established in piston dredging.
Establish an external brake shoe.
Establish a support with an internal block on the holder of a support. Screw in directing bolts of a support and tighten them the demanded moment (see fig. A tightening of directing bolts of a support on models with a ventilated disk).
Establish dustproof caps on directing bolts of a support.
Establish fixing spring on a support, thus the ends of a spring should settle down in support openings.
At existence establish on an internal brake shoe the new sensor of wear.
Similarly replace brake shoes on the second wheel.
Establish wheels and lower the car on the earth. Tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the demanded moment.
Several times press a brake pedal that brake shoes nestled on a brake disk.
Check level of brake liquid in a tank.
After installation of new brake shoes avoid sharp braking during the first 160 km of run of the car.
