8.7. Knot of the air pump (Simtec system)


1. Tighten the hand brake, then lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Remove the left forward wheel and protection of a wing.
3. Weaken a collar and remove an air hose from the pump.
4. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
5. Unscrew nuts and remove knot of the air pump. Disconnect from the pump the electric socket.
6. Disconnect a plait of wires of the pump from a pump arm.
7. Note an arrangement of the air pump on an arm.
8. Unscrew bolts and remove the pump from an insulator.
9. For check of an insulator unscrew three nuts, fixing a protective plate. Before removal of a protective plate put combination labels on a plate and an insulator.
10. Check a condition of the air filter of the pump.


1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
